FAMILY DAY

Come explore the limits of your imagination!

Hosted annually by the Constitution Island Association, Family Day offers young families the opportunity to explore Constitution Island through a variety of fun, hands-on learning experiences and entertainment - all set in the unique, natural and historic setting of Constitution Island.

Visitors can explore the footpaths and ruins of Revolutionary War fortifications, and transport back to a time before Henry Hudson sailed up “the river that flows two ways.”  On-hand docents are available to discuss the island's historic Warner House and its famous inhabitants the Warner Sisters.  Guests will have an opportunity to meet and speak with Anna Bartlett Warner in her beautiful gardens via re-enactor, Shelley Hendry, from History Come to Life.
