About the event
Constitution Island Association will host a free dramatic portrayal of the lives of two of the American Revolution's most intriguing characters, Major John Andre and General Benedict Arnold and their fateful meeting in Haverstraw, NY in 1780. Â The production allows these infamous men an opportunity to tell their side of the story and their motivation behind the plot that could have ended the cause of Independence.
Join us at 2 pm with a blanket or fold-up chair to enjoy this performance by 'Drama From the Past.' Sean Grady and Gary Petagine's historical dramatizations are known throughout the Tri-state area.  Both are history teachers/historical actors and perform in full period dress.  After the show they are available for photos and to answer questions in and out of character about the lives of the historical figures they portray.
We will continue the festivities in the Parish Hall with a sumptious reception and cocktails. Get your tickets now for the reception, as the hall seats approximately 120.
