Friends and Supporters,

We have all felt the full impact of today’s crisis; Coronavirus is unlike any other in modern history.  Until COVID19, our goal was to reopen a restoration that many will argue is in better condition than when Henry, Susan, and Anna Warner first occupied it.  It is nothing short of spectacular!

The Warners’ message was one of faith and belief. Constitution Island Association continues the same message and believes in a brighter tomorrow.  With high hopes, we continue to work with the United States Military Academy at West Point (USMAWP) to rededicate the Warner House and show-off the splendor of the fully restored structure and Education Center.  The reopening is only the beginning of a master plan that will expand education and recreation.  Still, as we have again been delayed from inviting people to Constitution Island in 2020, our fundraising efforts have been hampered. I ask through this annual appeal that you generously donate today to help support our century-old mission.

There is no question we will reopen and reintroduce the public to Constitution Island soon as protocols from USMA and NYS allow. The long pause in our ribbon-cutting ceremony and the grand opening has delayed us from the physical start, but we have been hard at work planning for the days beyond the pandemic when we can invite the public and share our rich history. Plans include re-launching the Little American Program through our re-connecting school tours, folding in other educational programs, and offering first-class museum tours to the public. The CIA will continue educational programming, sharing the rich history of the Warner Sisters and will consider opportunities to work with new partners on future programs.

Without our primary fundraiser, the Gala, and the other three signature events, fundraising has been challenging.  We need your support now more than ever. Your support now will give us the needed money to restore the collection and furnishings as we reinterpret the Warner House for the historic reopening. We are grateful for your past generosity and urge you to contribute through a tax-deductible gift. Your gift will allow us to continue to make this beautiful, historic gem available to all both now and for generations to come.
