About the Constitution Island Association

Constitution Island Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization in Putnam County, New York, established in 1916.  Our mission is to Partner with the United States Military Academy to provide the West Point community and other visitors with rewarding educational experiences based both on the legacy of the Warner Sisters and on the Island’s history, ecology and unique location on the Hudson River.


2017 was another watershed year for our organization.  With the help of new leadership and our enduring relationship with West Point, we were able to hold multiple successful events on the Island and are looking forward to hosting more events this summer.


Our focus this year will be to raise the additional funds necessary to ensure the interior restoration phase of the Warner House will take place following the completion of the fully-funded structural preservation phase.  We are working closely with West Point during this exciting time but may be required to make last minute changes or even cancel an event depending on construction progress this summer. 


Finally, we are in process of installing an interpretive display in the new Education Center on the island.  We hope you will have the opportunity to visit it this summer!
