Public tours are scheduled to resume in May 2019.  Please check back for dates and timing at the beginning of April 2019.

The preservation of the Warner House was not completed last fall as originally planned.  Construction was delayed for five weeks in August 2018 after the exciting discovery of a significant, undisturbed Native American archaeological site on the Island.  Completion of the project is now anticipated for late summer.

Journey on a walking tour of beautiful and historic Constitution Island.

Each summer, the Constitution Island Association offers walking tours of its beautiful grounds, impressive gardens and fortifications, and the historic Warner House.  Learn about the Island's Revolutionary War history and the life of the Warner Family on the Island.  View Anna Warner's garden and visit the Revolutionary War redoubts with experienced tour guides who understand the Island's history and significance.  Wear comfortable shoes - there are some hills and rough terrain!

Travel to the island is by boat from the United States Military Academy at West Point's South Dock.  Please bring Photo ID and allow time for the West Point entry checkpoint (this process may take up 15 minutes to an hour depending on the number of visitors in front of you).

At West Point, follow signs to the Visitors Center and "West Point - South Gate".  Proceed through the security checkpoint.  Just beyond the gate, pass the Thayer Hotel on the right and then turn right onto "Williams Road".  At the bottom of the hill is the Hudson River and South Dock.  Free parking at West Point's South Dock parking lot.

Our Tour Guides will meet you at South Dock and join you on the boat which leaves for the Island at 10:00am on Wednesday's and 9:00am on Saturday's.  The boat will pick everyone up to return to West Point at 11:30 on Wednesday's and 11:00am on Saturday's.

*Please note that the Warner House is closed and will not be part of the tour.
