Celebrate summer on the Great Chain Sunset Cruise!

Every summer, we hold an annual fundraiser to support our mission.  This year, due to the Warner House preservation construction on Constitution Island, we will be holding our event on the Hudson River.  Instead of dining on the front lawn of the Island, join us for an exciting cruise between the Bear Mountain Bridge and Constitution Island where chains were strung across the Hudson River during the Revolutionary War.  The southern chain went from Anthony's Nose to Fort Montgomery, while Kosciuszko's "Great Chain" went from West Point to Constitution Island, and was winched up every winter to avoid being destroyed by the tidal ice flowing in both directions.
