LITTLE AMERICAN TOURS MAY 5
School groups tour the Island. The tour includes a Revolutionary War trail guided walk and a presentation about the house by video and lecture. May 5 through June 15

PUBLIC TOURS JUNE 16 – September 30
Tours take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The presentation includes a garden walk, guided Revolutionary War Trail walk, and a presentation about the house by docents including a video and lecture. Travel to the Island by boat from West Point. Special group tours can be arranged for other days. Call the office for reservations. 845-446-8676.
SEAFOOD BARBECUE JUNE 19
Spend a special day on the Island at the Seafood Barbecue. The only fund raiser of the year, the Barbecue offer a delightful evening of gourmet food including lobster, a raw bar, music. interesting people and beautiful river vistas. 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

GARDEN DAY JULY 31
Garden Day celebrates the award winning Anna Warner Memorial Gardens, and Constitution Island’s special place in horticultural history. Come enjoy the Island’s gardens and listen to experts from the local area speak about gardening topics relating to the Hudson Highlands. Event hours 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. REENACTMENT WEEKEND August 21 & 22
Reenactment Weekend brings uniformed soldiers from organizations all over New England and New York. Horses, canon, marching troops, the firing of rifles add to the excitement. A camp is set up for living, cooking and working. Reenactors stay overnight in the camp. Period music and a parade. Civil War soldiering will also be celebrated this year. Family Day is a favorite. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy boat rides, horse and carriage rides, birds of prey from Teatown Reservation, and numerous scheduled events for the family. Volunteers gather to close the island for the season and to share a final boat ride and luncheon.

The Annual Meeting features brief reports, elections and awards.
